Stoneman-Schopf Agency, Inc., to Purchase Baylake Insurance Agency

June 28, 2012 -- Baylake Bank announced that an agreement has been reached for Stoneman-Schopf Agency, Inc., to purchase its subsidiary, Baylake Insurance Agency, effective July 1, 2012. Both companies are independent insurance providers that have been serving the personal and business insurance needs of the local community for many years.

Stoneman-Schopf Agency, Inc. has been serving clients in Northeast Wisconsin since 1958 and is located at 209 Green Bay Road in Sturgeon Bay. “We see the purchase as an opportunity to combine resources, resulting in additional opportunities for all our insurance customers,” said Peter Stoneman, co-owner and agent for Stoneman-Schopf, Agency, Inc. “Baylake Insurance policies will transfer automatically on July 1st, so there is nothing customers will need to do at this time,” he added.
